Children's Village Snow Day!

The kids had a wonderful time on Friday, February 12 because of the blanket of snow that fell in Georgia! Our children played in the snow and had a great time making snow angels, having snow ball fights, and enjoying hot chocolate inside! The kids were so excited to see and play in the snow! It was a perfect day for family fun!

Valentine's Day at the Children's Village

Thank you to J93.3 for hosting a Valentine’s Day party for our kids at the Children’s Village. The children had a great time and are so thankful for all the beautiful homemade Valentine’s Day cards they received from J93.3. Valentine’s Day is so important to the Children’s Village because this year February 14th is our 45th anniversary of serving abused and abandoned children who need some love in their life.

Christian City Celebrates Forty-five Years

Christian City celebrates forty-five years of ministry to children and seniors on February 14th. Christian City opened the first children’s cottage to eight little boys affected by situations of abuse and abandonment on Valentine’s Day, 1965. Since then, Christian City and the Children’s Village have been "home" to over 1,000 children and thousands of retiring seniors and the elderly through their Life Lease Homes, HUD housing apartments, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, an assisted living facility, and the first ever free standing Alzheimer’s Care Center in Georgia.
