Meet Vicki Turner...A Hollingsworth House Chair-ity Event Artist


Vicki Turner is one of the 3rd Annual Hollingsworth House Chair-ity Event artists. She painted a beautiful magnolia chair. This chair would be perfect for every southern home.

Vicki Turner, an artist that lives in Fayetteville, Georgia has 37 years of experience in Art and Design. Her paintings are displayed in local banks, bookstores and galleries in Georgia and Tennessee. She enjoys painting in oils, acrylics and watercolor. Her paintings are known for her great attention to detail!

In 2008, Congressman Lynn Westmoreland chose Vicki to paint a Christmas tree ornament for the White House’s “State” tree in Washington D.C. Last December Vicki traveled to Washington for the special artist reception hosted by First Lady Laura Bush at the White House. In April 2009, Vicki’s “Blue Ribbon” painting of the oldest Courthouse in the State of Georgia is now featured on the front of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce History Book.

Come out to the Hollingsworth House Chair-ity Event on November 30 from 5:00-7:30pm to view and bid on Vicki’s magnolia chair as well as chairs and works of art created and painted by other local artists. Tickets are $25 and maybe purchased at the door or in advance by calling 770-703-2636. The Chair-ity Event is an annual affair hosted by local business leaders including Congressman and Mrs. Lynn A. Westmoreland. All proceeds will help the children who live at Christian City have a wonderful Christmas.
