Local artists like Vicki Turner are starting to work on their beautiful hand-painted children-sized and holiday themed chairs for the 4th Annual Children’s Chair-ity Event benefiting The Children’s Village at Christian City. All chairs will be included in a "Santa’s Workshop" Silent Auction as well as a wide range of items donated by local businesses that you can purchase for that special someone. The volunteer driven event chaired by Angela Bean is hosted by community leaders including Ms. Turner, Congressman and Mrs. Lynn Westmoreland, and others who have supported The Children’s Village kids over the years. Sponsors such as AT&T, BB&T Reece Insurance, Georgia Power, Brent Scarborough & Co, Coweta-Fayette EMC and more are coming together to ensure the many kids at the Children’s Village enjoy a happy holiday. The event will take place on December 2nd from 5:30-7:30pm at The Dolce-Atlanta in Peachtree City. It will be a wonderful event with delicious food, refreshments, festive music, and holiday cheer to kick off the season. Tickets are $30 each which sponsors a child at The Children’s Village for one month. All are welcome!
